One bride we’re currently working with floated the idea of walking down the aisle to a Lord of the Rings theme—yes, that sweeping, emotional music that captures the spirit of an epic quest. We think it’s a brilliant choice for a processional: cinematic, majestic, and deeply heartfelt.
Nothing’s been finalized yet, but even imagining the moment gives us chills. Picture a quiet church, all eyes on the bride, and the opening notes of “Concerning Hobbits” or “The Fellowship Theme” played live on strings.
Because this wedding will be a full Catholic Mass, we’ve also been reflecting on how to blend this cinematic vision with sacred music—perhaps through traditional hymns arranged in a Celtic-inspired style. Be Thou My Vision or Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing, reimagined with that haunting, pastoral quality that echoes the mood of the Shire. A perfect way to honor both the spiritual and imaginative aspects of the day.
Another recent moment we won’t soon forget? Performing La Vie en Rose as a recessional. The joy in the room as the newlyweds walked hand in hand back down the aisle was absolutely infectious. Romantic, celebratory, and just unexpected enough to feel like pure magic.
And of course, Bridgerton is still having a moment. Its iconic theme is one of our most requested prelude pieces, and we understand why—there’s something about those strings that feels fresh, elegant, and instantly familiar. A perfect way to welcome guests and set the tone.
It’s not always the grand gestures that stand out—it’s the personal, sometimes playful touches that make a celebration truly unforgettable. One couple didn’t have many specific cocktail hour requests—but they had one non-negotiable:
“Please end with Pirates of the Caribbean.”
